Placido began his legal career working as a general practice attorney, but quickly realized his proclivity for the courtroom. Placido is especially passionate about defending the rights of parents, and has developed a great understanding that all family law matters should not go to court.
While attending South Texas College of Law, Placido was very active in community organizations and competed mock trials and alternative dispute competitions. During law school, he clerked for Harris County Public Defender’s Office and Harris County Attorney’s Office. Placido earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston and graduated cum laude.
Placido’s hard work has paid off– he was recognized in Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2018.
Placido represents clients all over the state, but primarily focuses his practice in North Texas.
